H.E. is the marking found on a range of vintage dip pen nibs. Surviving examples include several numbered designs and a model marked “Kroon”, the Dutch word for crown. The identity of the original manufacturer has not been confirmed. These nibs are used with a separate dip pen holder.
The H.E. No. 20 is a vintage pointed dip pen nib with a long, tapered body and a small oval vent hole. It bears the marking “H.E.20”.
