IMSA was a Spanish brand of dip pen nibs associated with Barcelona. Its range included the Durable and Perfecta designs. Original packaging describes these as “Pluma para oficinas”, meaning a pen for office use, and carries the words “Suave – Resistente”, advertising smoothness and durability. Surviving nibs and illustrated boxes preserve examples of Spain’s traditional writing equipment.

The IMSA Perfecta No. 30-1½ is a vintage Spanish dip pen nib with a flat writing edge and a distinctive spoon-shaped depression in its body. It bears the size marking 1½ and was marketed for office use.
