You will receive a set of ten unused William Mitchell Round Hand left-oblique nibs in perfect condition.
William Mitchell was an English pen nib manufacturer whose independent business began in Birmingham in 1825, after William had worked alongside his brother John in the early 1820s. The firm became particularly well known for lettering pens and developed a range of nibs for handwriting, calligraphy and drawing. It later joined with Hinks, Wells & Co. to form British Pens. Vintage William Mitchell nibs reflect the variety of designs produced by Birmingham’s historic pen industry.
These broad-edged calligraphy nibs have left-oblique writing edges and a flexible response. Their angled edges are designed for left-handed calligraphers. They are suitable for Italic, Carolingian, Uncial, Gothic, Foundational Hand and Roman capitals. Thick and thin strokes are created by the width and angle of the writing edge. The nibs can be used with or without a compatible slip-on reservoir.
From 5 sets you will receive a discount of up to 10%.
