Blanzy, Poure & Cie was a French manufacturer of steel pen nibs, established in Boulogne-sur-Mer in 1846. The company helped develop French nib production at a time when metal writing nibs were largely imported from England. This collection includes nibs bearing the BLANZY FRANCE and GILBERT & BLANZY-POURE names.

TRERAID nibs have a small rounded writing surface and an ink reservoir. They are designed for even, consistent strokes and are suitable for monoline lettering, titles, decorative alphabets and drawing. The writing surface should rest flat on the paper for a uniform line; the different sizes provide a choice from fine lettering to bold display work.
