Heintze & Blanckertz was established in Berlin in 1849 and became a pioneer of German steel pen nib manufacturing. The company produced nibs for handwriting, drawing and calligraphy.
You will receive nine unused Heintze & Blanckertz Redis nibs in perfect condition, one in each of the following writing widths: 0.50, 0.75, 1.00, 1.50, 2.00, 2.50, 3.00, 4.00 and 5.00 mm.
These lettering nibs have a round writing plate that produces strokes of relatively uniform thickness in different directions. Their firm construction offers little to no flexibility, making them suitable for monoline lettering, block letters, technical lettering and decorative drawing. The nine widths provide a selection for fine details through to bold lettering.
