John Mitchell was an English steel pen nib manufacturer established in Birmingham in 1822. The firm was among the pioneers of machine-made steel nibs, helping make writing instruments more affordable and widely available. Its range included pointed nibs for handwriting, broad-edged Engrossing Pens for lettering, and specialised drawing nibs. Vintage John Mitchell nibs reflect Birmingham’s long tradition of pen manufacturing.

The Engrossing Pens no.0131 EF box that you will get, will differ somewhat from the box on the photo, but you can be sure that the quality of the box will be high. And this also applies to the nibs.
