Perry & Co. was an English manufacturer of steel dip pen nibs whose origins date back to James Perry’s business, founded in 1824. The firm became closely associated with Josiah Mason, who manufactured its nibs in Birmingham. In 1876, their businesses joined with other related firms to form Perry & Co. Limited. Its extensive range included nibs for everyday handwriting, calligraphy and specialist applications. Names such as Perry & Co., Perryian and Perry-Mason reflect this shared manufacturing heritage.
