ERVI was a brand of steel dip pen nibs with a varied range of writing points. Surviving examples include pointed nibs, rounded writing points, drawing nibs and oblique-cut designs. These vintage nibs reflect the variety of specialised writing tools available before ballpoint pens became commonplace.
The ERVI no.55 has a rounded writing point that produces a broad line. Its low elasticity limits pressure-based line variation.
